it's coming from inside the house!

so i'm babysitting for my niece, and though i've had so much fun (she's one year old and nearly perfect) it's hard to be in a different house...especially at night when there are so many noises that i'm not used to. plus, it's windy as heck and i swear someone is knocking on the window about every ten minutes. yikes. but i'll be fine in the end, i'm sure (knock on wood) and watching their bazillion inch t.v. screen makes the time go by nicely.

wargames, ala matthew broderick (looking about 15 years old, i might add) is on and boy, does it bring back memories. i remember seeing this movie with my mom, dad and brother. i can't exactly remember where we were living at the time, i just remember that when i saw it, i though it was so cool and that it was one of the first movies i remember seeing with cuss words. the other being the toy, starring richard pryor (total classic). now that one was full of dirty words and i remember repeating lines from it for weeks.

anyway, not much to report. haven't written much for just that reason.

ok, just heard a loud noise upstairs and considering the fact that the only person who should be up there is a sleeping one-year-old, i think i'll grab a butcher's knife and go check it out. wish me luck and cross your fingers that this isn't my last post.just kidding...insert nervous and forced laughter here.
